Eilidh’s Bicycle Adventures
Cairo to Capetown January – July 2022
I am cycling from Cairo to Capetown from January to July.

Some of you may have noticed my National Brain Appeal cycling shirt. This charity’s work includes researching rare neurological conditions. I do happen to have a medical unicorn in the family who has a history with this brilliant charity. If you would like to support this vital work, please click the photo or the link below.
Words of Wanderers (and pictures)

This was supposed to be my project where I talk to women I meet on the way and try to hear their stories. However, it turns out I have rarely had the energy and confidence to go persuade local women to talk to me and let me draw them.
Instead I have drawn some fellow travellers and a few locals so far. They had to pose for 5 minutes (which is short!)
I asked them all the same 4 questions:
1. What is happiness for you?
2. What is your favourite food?
3. what is your dream?
4. What is the best thing about your country?
